Front and back covers of a zine: one side features a pair of graphic eyes closed, while the other has the same pair of eyes opened

Window Dressing

“Window Dressing” examines how the eyes influence Asian-American identity, including concepts of beauty and self-perception. Double sided, one half of the publication includes original photography and online reviews of products used to create a more severe crease in the eyelid. The other side features excerpts of interviews with females aged 4 to 63, documenting their lived experiences. Published for the 2017 San Francisco Zine Fest, “Window Dressing” is available in Chicago at Quimby’s and in the Bay Area at Issues, Pegasus Books, and Wolfman Books.
